Join us for a livestream with Steve Spalding, screenwriter and winner of the Sony Playstation Emerging Filmmaker Program pilot The Many Lives of Ayn Winters. Launched in 2017, in collaboration with Ideas United and their creator’s community We Make, Sony launched the PlayStation Emerging Filmmakers Program, an initiative aimed at harnessing the creativity and diverse talent of budding filmmakers.

Writers and filmmakers were invited to submit their best concepts for an original TV show. Out of hundreds of entries, five concepts were greenlit for pilot production. Steve Spalding (screenwriter) and Sarah Wilson Thacker’s (Director) project, The Many Lives of Ayn Winters was amongst the five winners.

On this livestream we will be discussing:

  • The background behind the Sony PlayStation Emerging Filmmaker Program
  • The genesis of the story for The Many Lives of Ayn Winters
  • Going from concept to pitch to pilot
  • Future Projects
